Didn’t like them the first day. I have some Achilles issues and man did they come in heavy with the mid. I tried them again a few days later and they didn’t irritate as much and felt waaay better. Glad I gave them the second chance. Going to put the explosive insole in them then I know for a fact I will really like them.
I love everything about the shoe, the design, the sharp, the insole which helps me land softly when I jump
This is one of my favorite shoes of all time. True to size, they have good traction and they’re light as a feather 10/10
READ BELOW ABOUT LACES. The Game 1 Apple color has fit pretty well. Love the color. Traction is quite good. Actually use these for outdoor basketball and pickleball. ORDER A .5 HALF SIZE UP. Yeah you can cut the midsole, I didn't do that, but even then I think the shoe is ever so slightly smaller than true size. 3/5 Lace near ankle, digs into my ankle and can never find a comfortable spot. It's actually really weird.
Talus area is not comfortable. But i need to tide them tight to secure the shoes. I wouldn’t loose my tide for this
I personally already go up a few sizes but one more would have done it for me the shoes are great performers but need a bit more space for my wide feet. Maybe there not worn in yet but a bit wider would be amazing
So much fun so far! I upgraded and went with the explosive midsole and these shoes bounce! They also look sweet and when I put my foot in the ground the shoes just responds. I really feel like this shoes could fit any play style. The only people that might want to stay away are people with wide feet. I personally will get another pair of these when another new colorway drops.
I am.very flat footed and I have a small.cawe of extensor tendinitis (irritation in front foot area) near shie laces. These shoes work well for me for the multi function elements I need them. I am a basketball coach and sports fitness and strength trainer for our program. These are rugged fit proper and excellent cushion and lightweight despite their appearance. The shoes work well in the gym area deadlifts ,squats , rower all standing and seated activities including the heavier ones which is clutch. Leave the gym and work with the players in the same shoe on the court with a simple wipe down. Lock down support but breathable excellent if not aggressive traction and a light frame to maneuver on the court. Excellent multi function shoe excellent build as well.
I like the look, the traction is really good and the shoe is fun to play in. A little narrow in the forefoot, for me going up half a size was a good decision. This colorway came with the excellent explosive midsole.

I wear a 10.5 but I sized up to an 11 they’re a perfect fit and super comfy with the explosive insole. I coach and train now and these get it done!
The shoe appears cheaply made. Specifically, the lacing lacks reinforcement where the laces pass through, making it foreseeable that the eyelets will tear quickly in high-stress areas. The shoe's weight distribution is bottom-heavy. Personally, I do not like the rubberized insole, as it exerts so much traction on the sock that it constantly shifts while putting the shoe on or walking (even with tightly fitting performance socks, so it is not due to loose socks). Overall, considering the price plus customs fees, the shoe is too expensive for what it offers.

Overall it is a pair of good shoes fit intense play style. 1. The plastic layer on my toe box got scratched off the first time I wore. 2. Maybe due to the nature of drop in midsole, the squeezing sound is obvious when I move, but this isn’t noticeable and bothering during the game.
These Game 1s are pretty solid! I love paying in them! They take a little bit a break in time for the upper. The traction was pretty good in my experience. The only problems i have are before break in there feels like there could be some heal slippage issues so i’d say use the farthest back lace hole and that fixed it. I also think the tongue could use a little more padding towards the top because the laces dig into my foot a tiny bit but goes away really fast. Here’s the good though, the support on this shoes is the best i’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the cushioning with the quick midsole and the boat of extra foam under that. Def want to try the explosive insole with them, I think that’d also the low insanely good. In my opinion i’d say they’re def up there for shoes out rn. They feel like a Kobe with a little better cushion and better support!
Love this shoe. Great traction, great heel to toe transition, and great cushion. The cushion is a big improvement from the Player 1 Plus. The only downside to this shoe for me is the fact that it doesn't squeak that much. The shoe takes about a week to fully break in, but once it breaks in it is one of the best shoes on the market. I definitely recommend this shoe for guards who want to play outside, but it is also a great indoor shoe.
I love the aesthetics and overall feel of the Game 1, but I had some difficulty with the Quick drop-in midsole. In short, I do a lot of jumping for rebounds and when going into the paint, but the Quick midsole can't seem to provide the support I need. I'll be purchasing both the Explosive and Support midsoles to see if it helps with my experience with the Game 1. Overall, I gave it a 3 star rating for now - the shoe itself excels at a few things (i.e. traction, lateral containment). This is not my first drop-in midsole shoe, but I just could not get used to the Quick midsole. My feet and ankles would feel fatigued while playing on this support setup. Hoping that the Explosive and Support midsoles help to change my experience!
Love the shoes and how they look on my feet. Happy with purchase. Also have a pair of the Player 1 Plus on the way. Cant wait to try those out.
Game 1 is good, but not great. I cut the leather off the center of the tongue, and it was a nice improvement. Also I trimmed the toe box edges of the midsole drop in to create more room, which made this shoe much better! Still prefer the player 1 plus, but the game 1’s are very good now also! Need an Oreo colorway, black sole-white upper with black fly wire and some black accents!!
So i got 3 pairs of the Game 1 the spider lavenders and the candy and all of them was great performers so i wanted to try the mid for the first time. I got the HQU color which is fire🔥🔥🔥 but as far as the performance they perform the same as the game 1 low but what I dislike about the mid is that it’s a mid top and a low top and that part of the shoe felt awkward to me. Still a top performing shoe but if your gonna go mid go mid if you gonna stay low top stay low top but definitely giving you points for always willing to do something different. Everyone should definitely try it to get a feel for themselves. 4/5🔥🔥👌🏾

Shoes are tough to get, but only because they are a perfect fit, I feel more coordinated and confidant on my feet. Going to get some more.
I love the game 1 got 3 different colorways I personally feel like the shoe was made for me. Being 5’10 but on the heavier side at 220 it’s light way so I can move quick it has that perfect balance between impact protection and court feel and it’s very supportive literally a shoe made for all players regardless the style and position. The one thing I had to get used to tho was that it has little to no squeak but that didn’t take long and wishing they had more colorways in which they do but those are mid tops and I only rock with low tops over here loll. If you love the LeBron 20 you’ll love this and for $138 u can’t beat it! 4.5/5 definitely gets Kev stamp of approval !!!
Been switching between the player one plus and the game one mids, and can’t go wrong with either. game one has been very versatile and cushioning has been great
I love this shoe. It was a slightly different fit that the Player1 plus “joker” I had previously ordered though. I probably would have gone down a half size if I would have known that before hand. However, I love this shoe regardless. It isn’t a deal breaker for me.
One of the best shoes I ever tried, materials don't press on my feet like other companies, and a wide enough toe box so my bunior doesn't get bothered.
Would love some softer cushion around the ankle. Little stiff at first, need to break them in. The ride is very nice and traction is great
