After playing in these for about 2 months 4 times a week, I've really enjoyed the look and feel of these shoes. There was little to no break-in time and no discomfort around the toe box, side panel, ankle collar or with the uppers. The cushion was one of the favorite parts of the shoe. Enough to last me a session and low enough to make me feel confident in the movements I made.There were a few aspects that prevented me from giving it 5 stars. Firstly, the traction/rubber picked up a lot of dust and affected the performance, which wasn't what I expected because my pair of P1plus didn't have that problem. Lastly, the carbon fiber shank cracked on my left pair. Don't really see a performance drop after cracking the carbon fiber. It's more of a visual thing for me. Overall, solid shoe. I would consider buying another pair if the rubber issue is addressed.
As someone who’s serious about basketball and currently working my way back from an ACL/MCL injury, I can genuinely say the Serious Player Only Easy1 has been one of the most impressive basketball shoes I’ve played in.
When I first received them, I thought they looked a little bulky, but I was surprised by how lightweight they actually felt on my feet. The fit was excellent, true to size, with a snug lockdown and just enough room in the toe box to feel comfortable without sacrificing stability.
What impressed me the most was the traction, court feel, and overall support. Whether I’m making aggressive cuts, attacking downhill, performing snatch-backs, or pulling up off the dribble, the shoes give me the confidence to move naturally and stay in control. The grip is outstanding, and the lockdown helps my feet feel secure during quick changes of direction.
The cushioning also provides a comfortable, responsive experience without making me feel disconnected from the court.
As someone rebuilding confidence in my movement after a major knee injury, having a shoe that feels stable and predictable means a lot.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the Easy1. Serious Player Only has definitely earned my attention, and I’m looking forward to adding more of their basketball shoes to my rotation. I highly recommend giving these a try if you value traction, lockdown, stability, and court feel.
Great shoe. Get all the value out of a premium option without paying the extra for big name brand recognition. If you’re going to spend the money, the durability is worth the investment. Quality materials that look and feel great.
Great traction, great fit, great feel. However, very disappointed. I don't know if this was just bad luck, some odd exposure, or the materials themselves but something isn't right. We have had dozens of basketball shoes over the years and treated them all the same. However, this pair started growing mold almost immediately. I tried drying them, cleaning them, spray them, etc. It just keeps getting worse and now I have to throw them out only 4 months after purchase. I don't know why its only this one pair of shoes. Outside of that they seemed like great shoes. They were so good, in fact, that I tried to buy new ones. Sadly, I live in the US and the website says there is a shipping restriction on Player 1 Plus and will not allow me to purchase another pair. Be careful. I don't know why this one pair of shoes seems to prone to mold growth. It is literally stored alongside Nikes, Wades and others and not one other pair has this issue. Could they have been exposed to something before use? Did we expose them to something? That seems less likely because they are stored with several others and these are the only ones with this issue. Its sad because my son said it was his favorite pair. Very disappointing.
Reeally like the fit of the shoe. it is snug yet accomodating in the right areas. I use it for pickleball instead of basketball, so i need the lightness as well as court feel but also some cushioning as i am on the heavier side. This shoe ticks all these boxes, the added bonus is the collab with nightwing. Had a few queries on it already and cannot recommend it enough.
Traction was phenomenal on cleaner courts, very very good on slightly dusty courts(occ wipe needed), support was top notch, low to court, my foot stayed on the foot bed. Upper is one to one fit. Heel to toe is smooth. Drop in bouncy and light. No hot spots.
They are very snug when over height wise, so took getting use to the one to one snug fit. But didnt bother me one bit once starting to hoop
I've been a loyal SPO customer for years, starting with the Player 1+ and now the Player 1.5. The shoes themselves are great — comfortable, great traction, and stylish colorways.
I did run into an issue where the outsole traction started peeling from the footbed on one shoe after only about 10 wears, which turned out to be a manufacturing defect. What really stood out was SPO's customer service in resolving it. They were responsive, understanding, and worked with me through the process to make sure I ended up with a pair I was happy with.
It's rare to get this level of support from a brand, and it's made me an even more loyal customer. Highly recommend both the shoes and the team behind them.
I didn’t think the player series could get any better. I was wrong. This is currently my favorite shoe not because of the color but the performance and comfort. COMFORT! Good job yall
I love player 1 plus but had a problem along the lateral side of the shoe especially in the area of the pinky toe BUT you guys are amazing and you actually fixed and made it much better with the player 1.5. So far i have no complaints and this is one of my favorite shoes to play in. Love the new explosive midsole. Amazing!!! Keep it up. Very excited for future products😁

Because the materials are diferent from the Macau color . I would love to try the players 1.5 mid style , I’m from Puerto Rico. They don’t arrive directly here. Has to shipped to Massachusetts first. We have here USPS too
One of the best shoes i’ve played in my whole life. Lebron 20s and Kobes are my go to and I have not rotated to them since getting Player1.5s. Great cushion while still having amazing court feel. No heel slippage at all with the material used for the heels. My knees and feet don’t hurt after a full 2hr session of basketball. 10/10
I think Player 1 is better foot feel than Player 1.5. Overall its a good shoes. If you like kobes you gotta love this shoes. Better quality better traction same price.
En verdad son unas preciosas zapatillas, me traen mucha nostalgia, ya que me devuelven a mi época de adolescente, tiene una buena amortiguación, excelente amortiguación, simplemente excelentes zapatillas y voy por otra.
Thought the shoes would be too wide, but as I tightened them they actually seemed to seal themselves around my foot! Felt very nice and I especially love the insole. The laces are a tiny bit long, but I can always tuck them in, or try the extras. They are very light but still have good support, and good traction. Overall the feel of the insole/the fit to my foot stand out the most and everything else is as good or better than other shoes I’ve worn! Great stuff!
These shoes are top 3 peformers...traction, fit, cushion, playability, the list goes on and on...waiting for wear testers collab to drop...I wear to workout in and play ball in...love the kicks... keep doing what yall doing over there...definitely supporting the brand 🔥💪🏾🔥💪🏾
Been enjoying my SPO player1 plus traction is on point and the explosive insole does its job. Can’t lie though I want my recovery slides real bad after a game but they are spectacular.
These are honestly in the top 3 purchases of all basketball shoes I have ever bought. The traction is immaculate even on dusty courts. The fit is TTS. They're also super light so its easy to make quick movements
