Been using the SPO Player 1.5 Mid “Icarus” recently and honestly, I’ve been really enjoying them. I originally got interested in them because of Xaivian Lee, and the design actually looks even better in person than it does in pictures, which was a nice surprise. I got a EUR 44 and the sizing felt true to size overall. Since I’m flat-footed, I did have to loosen up the forefoot a little to get the right amount of room, and I’ll probably need to find that sweet spot with the lacing so I can keep the lockdown without losing too much grip. The tongue was also shorter than I expected, but it wasn’t really an issue. On court, the traction has been really good, even on dusty courts, and the lateral movement feels solid. The shoe also feels light and quick, which I really liked, especially for a shifty guard-style game. I’ve used them for both basketball and volleyball and they’ve felt great in both. The cushioning is another highlight for me — jumping and landing felt really nice and comfortable. In terms of build quality, they don’t feel cheap at all and durability seems good so far. I honestly don’t have any major complaints about them at this point. Considering how expensive shoes like Kobes can get, I’d say the price is pretty reasonable for what you’re getting. Overall, I’d say the Icarus is a really enjoyable option for players who like a lightweight, quick shoe with good traction and cushioning.
