The midsole did not fit in my shoe. I asked to return it and even sent in photos, but they refuse to refund. I would never purchase anything from these people again, very poor service and quality.
They fit true to size. Just waiting for the midsoles to be restocked. Then everything will be perfect.

Very bouncy feel
The Explosive drop in midsole is amazing and is far and away my favorite of the SPO drop in midsoles. They provide responsive court feel with more pop and comfort than any of the other midsoles they offer.
Love the insole it's great for wide feet best bball shoe I've ever worn by far better than Kobe 6!

Explosive midsole with supercritical foam. Takes a little bit of time to break in and I can't decide if I like these or the Support midsoles better. These are more bouncy and the Support midsoles are more plush in my opinion. Perhaps the next iteration can have a carbon fiber plate embedded within the foam for even more bounce.
I loved wearing my Player1 Plus with the explosive drop in midsole. The overall performance of the shoe improved and I feel more comfortable on the court!
The explosive midsole with player 1 plus is unreal. Bounce is crazy and lockdown still feels great. I tried it with my kobe 9s and it did feel like I lost a bit of court feel. However, with the player 1 plus, it was so much better than their normal strength/quick insoles!
Picked up the explosive midsoles to pair with my Player1+ Tulips. Very springy and tons of energy return! Absolutely in my rotation -- love what SPO is doing!
The explosive midsole felt great on foot, I could definitely feel the targeted areas. The boost/springy feel is obvious and subtle at the same time, but very effective on court. Highly recommend
Took sometime to break in but feels good afterwards. It is better than the standard quick and strength midsole. I personally didn’t like the sticky print as it easily peeled away.
Just wanted to share an update on my review of the player one plus but regarding the midsoles. The explosive fits great in the Kobe 11 and 9s (same size as shoe) just needed a few wears on them to break in a little absolutely love them, also the Zion 3 midsoles are phenomenal in the player one plus, Kobe 11, Kobe 9s can’t speak on the 8s as I no longer own any. The explosive midsole is my go to when competing and use in all 3 shoes looking forward to other creations this company has in store!

Last of my haul of products. Wanted to try one of the insoles with the player1 plus and so glad I did. The explosive is like nothing I’ve felt on foot before, and I’ve been obsessed with bball shoes for over 10 years… Must have insole imo.

This midsole has unreal compression. Each step it feels like I’m in a cloud. And I’m bouncing every time.
The Explosive midsole is solid. It’s extra bouncy and comfortable. SPO already has excellent drop-in midsoles with the Support midsoles and standard issued-midsoles that come with Player 1 Plus, but with Explosive, you can feel the bounce. If you are a heavier player (more than 200 lbs), your best bet is the Support midsole. The containment is stronger and you can feel the difference from the Explosive version. But if you are a lighter player, you will love there Explosive midsoles.
This boom mid soles has improved my Kobe 9’s like crazy! Bouncier and more explosive. The comfort is amazing!
The insoles are on a different level. Knee pain no more and I love the responsiveness.

The explosive insoles are exactly as marketed… EXPLOSIVE! The bounce and comfort are amazing. If they could somehow add lateral support without taking away from that, Serious Player will be undefeated.

Did not fit my Kobe 8s. These midsoles did provide good grip but I had a lot of heel slippage which led to me tying my shoes really tight. Played one pick up game in them and it gave me foot cramps.
the Explosive insole is too hard for my taste, my knee was sore day after hoop with that insole.

Took the advice of other reviews and went up one size fits perfect
I never received my order and I was told you would refund my money and that hasn’t happened yet!!!! My review would be to all people NOT TO ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I placed my order on Dec 12 th and I have emailed them 5 times and each time I received the exact same email “ stating we have received your order and it is processing please be patient as this is our busy season. Here is your tracking number” but I tried and tried to find out how it was mailed to no success. Finally after 6 emails I emailed them back and argued with them because I kept every single thing from them and my response!!!! Finally they emailed me back and said they would refund my money to the source it came from and I said GREAT !!!! Two weeks later I still haven’t received my refund!!!
Very much looked forward to hooping with these shoes. Unfortunately the shoe was a bit too long - the laces hurt the top of my right foot when tied up tight. I usually wear a size 7.5 in Kobe's and was told to go up to size 8 as they didn't have 7.5. Traction is great though but I can't wear these to play.
I like the court feel and all the different soles. The fit, feel, look and the traction. One of the best shoes I have ever worn. I plan on trying the other models and getting another pair of those.
Loving the player one, and the explosive midsole drop in! Interchangeable cushion midsole are a gamechanger, they need to continue their innovations in the drop ins, creating every imaginable cushion!!
